goooooo! I am Going Goop! And if nobody reads this i might just cancel my Google account because what is the point?! my goal is for those who read to leave comments. and apparently no one is reading this thing. Not that i am actually writing anything useful.
lets do some more poetry.
Traveler
I am a Traveler on one Road.
Small is my pack, great is my load.
Many places I have seen,
and many lands to which I've been.
yet the place to which i travel to,
Is hard to find by me or you.
well that was nice! not too fond of that last sentence but i don't know how to fix it.
let's do another. (by the way, i am not just spouting these off the top of my head, i wrote them a while ago in a little book and now i want people to read them.)
so any way, here is another. This one is not by me. it is from a book i read by Brian Jaques called The pearls of Lutra. very beautiful and it is actually supposed to be a song.
--Farewell to Piknim
Fare you well upon your journey, to the bright lands far away,
where beside the peaceful rivers you may linger any day.
In the forests warm at noontide, see the flowers bloom in the glades,
meet the friends who've gone before you,
to the calm of quiet shades.
There you'll wait O my beloved, never knowing want or care,
and when I have seen my seasons, we will walk together there.
love this poem/song!! makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. i have had no friends die, but they have moved away, and i know what it is like to feel loss.
uno mas!
sand
too many to count
"more numerous than sand"
such expression!
How common sand must be, and how small, to small for us to see?
what an existence!
to be so great in number, yet minuscule in size,
that it should not be noticed if it tries.
yet it makes it self known!
I don't know what i was thinking when i wrote this one.
got to go eat now. food. food is good!
ciao!
